Meet the Staff

Angie Blom

Angie has been an Optometric Tech on our team since 2009. She enjoys getting to know each of the patients while assisting the doctors. Angie loves the excitement that children bring to the office and seeing all the familiar faces she has gotten to know over the years. She is a graduate of Oskaloosa High School, Indian Hills Community College, and Grandview University. Angie often uses her design degree to help design many of the print ads we use here at Oskaloosa Vision! Angie is married to Travis and together they have a daughter (Ember). Angie & her family attend Fellowship Bible Church in Oskaloosa. Her hobbies include spending time with her family and friends, sporting events, camping, fishing, and games.

Jamie Brown

Jamie originally was added to our team in 2011 as Insurance/Accounts Coordinator and became our Office Manager in 2022. She graduated from Eddyville-Blakesburg High School and holds a degree from Indian Hills Community College in Medical Coding & Billing. She enjoys helping patients with their billing and insurance needs and also enjoys encouraging and motivating our staff; helping them grow both personally and professionally. Her hobbies include spending time with her family and friends, reading, walking, and cuddling up with her 3 dogs.

Tarah Ferstein

Tarah joined Oskaloosa Vision in 2020 as a Dispensing Optician. She has a BA degree in Health Promotion & Exercise Science and a MA degree of Organizational Leadership in Healthcare Management. Tarah enjoys that each day at Osky Vision is very different. She says it keeps the work environment fun and brings new challenges every day. She is married to Jeff and together they have 2 children.

Kim Gregson

Kim was added as a Receptionist to our staff in 2022. She came to us with many years of customer service experience and enjoys getting to see familiar faces at Oskaloosa Vision. Kim is married and in her free time she enjoys traveling and riding Harley’s.

Amy Miller

Amy joined Oskaloosa Vision in 2015 as a Receptionist. She enjoys greeting and meeting patients as they arrive at Oskaloosa Vision Center. Her hope is that each patient feels welcome and comfortable in our office. Amy is married and has 3 children. Amy enjoys walking, camping, and spending time with her family.

Tiffany Spoelstra

Tiffany has been a Dispensing Optician on our staff since 2020. She is a graduate of Eddyville-Blakesburg High School and came to us with years of optical experience prior to joining our staff. Tiffany enjoys getting to know our patients and helping find glasses for their individual needs. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, baking, drawing and learning about Korean culture. Tiffany and her family enjoy attending the First Assembly of God Church.
